This Privacy Policy outlines how Wizer collects, uses, shares, and protects the personal information of users (“you” or “users”) of the Wizer mobile application (“App”) and the services provided by Wizer (“Service”). By using the App and the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you register for an account on Wizer, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, and other details required for account creation.
- Profile Information: Users may choose to provide additional information in their profiles, such as skills, expertise, and a profile picture.
- Transaction Information: When you use the payment features on Wizer, we collect information about the transactions, including payment details.
- Communication Information: We may collect information from your communications with other users within the App.
- Device Information: We automatically collect information about the device you use to access the App, including device type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Location Information: With your consent, we may collect your precise location information to facilitate service matching.
2. How We Use Your Information
- We use the information collected to provide, maintain, and improve the App and the Service.
- Your account information may be used to facilitate communication between service providers and service seekers.
- Transaction information is used to process payments and provide transaction-related notifications.
- We may use your information to send you updates, promotional materials, and other communications.

3. Information Sharing
- Wizer may share your information with service providers or service seekers, as necessary, to facilitate the provision of services.

4. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Data Retention and Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your Wizer account and associated data at any time — from within the app (Profile → Account Management → Delete Account) or by requesting deletion via our Delete Your Account page. When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your account and associated data, including your profile and login details, skills, gigs, orders, chat messages, ratings and reviews, and payment references tied to your account.
We may retain certain information after account deletion where we are legally required or have a legitimate need — for example, transaction and payment records we must keep for financial, tax, and fraud-prevention and regulatory compliance. Retained records are limited to what is necessary and kept only for as long as required by law.
We retain payment and transaction records for 7 years from the end of the relevant tax period, to meet UAE VAT and corporate-tax requirements. These are the only records kept after your account is deleted.
Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. Deletion is permanent and irreversible; there is no recovery or grace period. The limited financial records described above are kept only for legal compliance.
6. Your Choices
- You may review and update your account information at any time through the App.
- You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails by following the instructions provided in the emails.
- You can disable location tracking through your device settings, but this may affect certain features of the App.
7. Children’s Privacy
Wizer is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any material changes will be notified through the App or by other means. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
